Founded in 1899, Northern Arizona University (NAU) is a leading public university located in the state of Arizona, ranked as one of the Top 100 best public colleges in the United States. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The college has six faculties:

- College of Engineering, Forestry, and Natural Sciences
- College of Health and Human Services

The School of Hotel and Restaurant Management has won accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Hospitality Administration. The B.S.E. In Electrical Engineering diploma is authorised by means of the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
